I'm a product designer with a background in computer science — which means I care about how things work as much as how they look.
I've spent the last several years working on products used by millions of people, mostly in the SaaS and fintech space. I believe good design is mostly invisible and that the best interfaces get out of the way.
Outside of work I write occasionally about design craft, tools, and the weird tension between taste and practicality. I'm also learning to build what I design, which is equal parts humbling and useful.
